CES 2009: iriver's 'wave home'

the wireless ‘wave home’ by iriver is a touchscreen computer that runs a slew of small widget-like applications culling information from the web. the premise of the device is to distribute small chunks of media that are more easily consumed. the device is controlled through touch via a stylus and a wireless handset that is actually a voip phone. the device also comes equipped with the necessary ports, speakers and a camera. the device has almost endless applications and should be out in most markets by mid-2009.
