after SpaceX successfully launched two NASA astronauts to the international space station (see the launch and docking here), could there be a new collaboration between elon musk and the national aeronautics and space administration in the future, specifically with his electric car brand? a 2008 roadster ‘starman‘ has already been sent to space. now, californian concept car designer charlie automotive has conceptualized a tesla cybertruck lunar rover edition, called cyber6. it presents another imaginative interpretation of the futuristic, geometric pickup, which has since inspired a family camper, minivan and more.

charlie automotive’s tesla cybertruck has been modified to survive on the lunar landscape. its original sci-fi-like exterior panelling remains almost completely the same apart from being labelled with SpaceX and NASA logos as well the US flag all over. two extra light strips feature on the front, numerous antennas extend above the vehicle, and a huge satellite is mounted to the truck bed. this all sits on top of six huge wheels, which have been designed for extra maneurverability on the tough terrain.
