there are now many in-ear headphones for the likes of exercising outdoors, exposing them to sun, wind, rain and sweat. but many haven’t dealt with the audio cables that bounce around and entangle during those set fitness hours. the ’t-rex’ earphones by cortli do without cables entirely with each ear bud powered by their own rechargeable batteries that last ten hours.

  • Very pretty but you have to ask yourself whether it will still be particularly relevant in the 2+ years it takes any idea to get from conception to hardware and whether it will become real at all starting as a crowdfunded fantasy with unknown technological hurdles. Will the major brands have obviated it by then? That’s the reality of hardware crowdfunding in a nutshell.
