curtiss zeus releases jet-black, futuristic, electric bobber motorcycle

hot on the heels of its ‘hera’ release – which saw an 111-year-old classic revamped – curtiss zeus has revealed a jet-black electric motorcycle that’s strikingly futuristic. built with an aluminum frame, the modular-looking ‘bobber’ features sleek curves, a glossy black finish, and solid carbon wheels.

the electric bike is super light, weighing in at just 475 pounds. with the capability of going 0-100 in 2.1 seconds, it packs a lithium-ion battery which can push the vehicle up to 280 miles. its electric motor generates 190 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque.

the suspension system is fully adjustable for both racing and commuting. the front features girder type suspension which for high and low speed compression and rebound damping. at the rear a machined 6061-T6 aluminum swingarm with centerline cantilever monoshock does the same.

cast iron brakes include two 230 MM beringer models featuring 4D floating cast iron disks with four-piston, radially-mounted 4D calipers. for the rear there is one 240 MM cross-drilled stainless steel disc with a four-piston, radially-mounted, aerotec caliper.
