diamond atelier’s ‘sixty2’ custom scrambler is a striking build with a minimalist, aggressive style. based on the ducati ‘scrambler 803′, it is now redressed in hand-made bodywork with a polished ‘cherry’ red fuel tank. created by tom konecny and pablo steigleder, owners of munich-based workshtop diamond atelier, the motorcycle now has the same unwavering focus on aesthetics and proportions that have grown to be signature of the company.

diamond atelier took the ducati scrambler’s frame and reworked it, and crafted the bike a bespoke subframe. the studio then replaced the motorcycle’s original swingarm with the ducati ‘803’ scrambler’s stock aluminum part, and had a custom rear suspension shock made specifically for the ‘sixty2’ by wilbers . at the front, the diamond atelier team installed a new set of USD forks.

one thing that tom particularly liked about the scrambler is the shape of the gas tank and the way it flows with the bike’s lines. it kept that and added custom red paint, and handcrafted a rear frame for it with an aggressive kick-up tail. sat on top is a tan cowhide leather saddle complementing the motorcycle’s dark componentry.
