bazooka-styled e-bike ‘ASYNC A1’ rides through all terrain, from city streets to off-road trails

Integrated aluminum frame for Async A1

At first glance, bike brand ASYNC’s electric bike A1 resembles a rocket launcher dressed in an aluminum base. Yet the first design impression is only part of its overall allure. It is bodied in an integrated aluminum frame that improves the vehicle’s robustness and durability.

The triangular structure of the electric bike keeps the riders in a mostly upright position, and comfort follows through the 1.8-inch thick saddle that provides ample cushioning and pressure relief. Striking a balance between minimalism and sleekness, the streamlined design of ASYNC’s A1 lures attention.

motocross bike design elements

Visual elements from traditional motocross bikes show up in ASYNC’s A1, starting with its adjustable inverted fork suspension provides that pumps responsive handling, compression, and rebound dampening. Zooming in, the electric bike’s four-piston system offers stabilized control and durability when it comes to braking.

It comes hand-in-hand with the mono-shock rear suspension, located within the integrated frame to prevent wear and tear from rain and dirt exposure, which absorbs road vibrations to increase riding stability. These features enable ASYNC’s A1 to weather all terrain, from city streets to rugged off-road trails.

Electric bike ASYNC A1 is an all-weather ride

For its electric bike A1, ASYNC adopts a carbon belt drive for a no-lubricant-mess riding and to avoid the chains from coming off. ‘Belt drives are quiet, clean, light, low-maintenance, and long-lasting,’ says ASYNC. Aside from being an all-terrain ride, the bike brand claims it can also weather rain, hail, or snow with ease drawn from the A1’s main parts being IPX7 waterproof.

Specs buffs might appreciate that A1 anchors a removable battery with a range of up to 150 miles. ‘With a Samsung 21700 battery, the A1 boasts an ultra-long range, giving you the freedom to explore and commute without any recharging worries,’ the design team states. ASYNC adds that an expansion kit is also an option that allows riders to turn their removable battery into a portable power station that can charge up electronic devices and a wide range home appliances.

Customizable e-bike with a burglar alarm

ASYNC has devised two variants for its electric bike, the classic A1 and its Pro version. For the former, charging time may take between six and seven hours, its miles range between 40 and 75, and a four-inch LCD display is attached to flash riding information. For the latter, a bump of charging time between eight to ten hours is on board, plus a range of up to 150 miles and a bigger 5.5-inch display.

For both models, riders can connect their phones using the ASYNC App where they can check real-time vehicle data, use the digital key, track their bike’s location, lock and unlock their vehicle, and set up a burglar alarm for when the vehicle topples or moves abnormally. For the fans of customization, ASYNC states that its electric bike leaves room for a variety of possible customizations so riders can tailor it to their liking.
