first teased back in june 2018, elon musk has only shared one image of the long-awaited tesla pickup truck to date, which will eventually be named the ‘model P’ when launched. in the time since, istanbul-based designer emre husmen has conceived his own concept of this upcoming vehicle. the design not only adopts the sleek, futuristic form renowned for the brand but also makes the truck look as powerful and rugged as you would expect from an off-roader and utility vehicle.

emre husmen’s conceptual tesla pickup truck features the brand’s signature solid front. it also details a small faux-grille with ultra-thin LED headlights on either side. the smooth, sleek exterior body continues down the sides with a narrow waistline. this helps ensure the vehicle appears clean yet elegant. at the rear, however, the form is defined by heavily cut accents that are further emphasized with long, extended taillights, which are even more unique than the headlights.

when first announced, elon musk referenced to ‘model P’ as being a smaller version of tesla’s semi. he also went on to explain that the truck will come standard with dual motor all-wheel drive, ‘crazy torque’, and a suspension that dynamically adjusts for the load. with all these expectations, let’s also hope the product model looks as futuristic and powerful as husmen’s concept…
