‘ferrari‘, a collaborative line between the italian automotive brand and logic3 audio producers, brings the iconic look and recognizable style of ferrari to the world of audio gear. the collection spans nine headphones and four speaker docks across two series: ‘scuderia‘, whose models mirror the look of the ferrari ‘f1’ racing team, and ‘cavallino‘.

the various models of the ranges are crafted similarly, varying primarily in their aesthetic. technologically, all of the earbuds of both lines feature patented ‘thin film acoustic technology’ (‘TFAT’), which achieves a passive dynamic-balancing system for increased fidelity, wider frequency range, and deeper bass.

on-ear models in the ‘scuderia’ series include the ‘p200‘, ‘r200, and ‘r300‘ headphones, the last of which features active noise canceling technology. all are produced of machine-crafted metal arms, which in the ‘r200’ and ‘r300 are integrated into a two-way folding design for improved portability. earphone models of the collection include the ‘s100’ and ‘r100’ models.

in the ‘cavallino’ collection, on-ear devices include the ‘t250‘ and ‘t350‘ headphones, the latter of which features active noise canceling technology. both models are composed of machined metal arms with a leather-trimmed headband. earphones of ‘cavallino’ include the ‘g150’ and ‘t150’.

four speaker docks round out the offerings of the logic3 ‘ferrari’. the ‘scuderia fs1’ is a 2.1 speaker dock, featuring a 120-watt amp with twin passive bass radiators. devices can be connected through a built-in apple dock or via bluetooth. the ‘scuderia fs1 air’ offers the same look and specifications but includes apple airplay wireless technology. the ‘cavallino gt1’ speaker dock combines a 250-watt amp and multi speakers unit with a 6.5-inch subwoofer, likewise integrating an apple dock and bluetooth. the ‘gt1 air’ version includes apple airplay.

just exhibited at CES 2012, most headphones and earphones are expected in april of this year. the base model speaker docks are planned for a june release and the ‘air’ editions for july.
