the fiat ‘500 couture’ featuring three exclusive concepts is being presented at the motorvillage rond-point des champs-elyées at the paris fashion week. the highlight is the ‘500 ron arad edition’ which was created in collaboration with the israeli designer, and pays homage to the company’s 1957 version with a drawn silhouette on the bodywork. this latest take further enhances the vintage soul of the car and offers customers the ability to express their personality with a unique style. the celebration vehicle features chrome-plated accents, black poltrona frau leather seats with ivory trim, white mirror caps and a seven inch TFT instrument panel. ron arad was present at the event, along with olivier francois, global head of brand fiat and roberto giolito, vice president design centre EMEA fiat chrysler automobiles.

arriving to the european market in november 2014, the fiat ‘500 couture’ series is sold with an accurate 1:18 showcased scale model and also includes the ‘comics’ and the ‘camouflage’ editions to its collection. the former reflects the pop nature of the original car by flaunting a two-tone pastel ochre yellow and metallic black color scheme, and a stylish stitching graphic. whereas, the ‘camouflage’ design draws upon the fun nature in the car’s DNA and extends this with the grey/green pattern.
