LITEFAR B1 Wagon reimagines the journey from car to shore

LITEFAR B1 is a foldable electric beach wagon designed to transport chairs, coolers, towels, and other equipment from vehicles to the shoreline across pavement, wooden paths, grass, and soft sand. The design integrates the frame, wheels, power system, and controls into a single structure, combining an aluminum-alloy frame with internally routed wiring, dual hub motors, and wide balloon tires. The B1 is organized around a series of vertical columns that define the frame, folding mechanism, and electrical system. Motor and control wiring is routed inside the structure, keeping the exterior free of exposed cables and separate technical components.

Hub Motors and Balloon Tires Adapt  B1 to Changing Terrain

The aluminum-alloy frame provides the structure for the fabric cargo compartment while incorporating the handle, battery, lighting, and control system. Its upright geometry also allows the wagon to fold into a more compact configuration for transport. Soft sand can cause conventional utility wagons to sink and experience increased drag. The B1 addresses these conditions with wide, low-pressure balloon tires combined with two 600W brushless hub motors integrated into the rear wheel assemblies. The wheel-mounted drivetrain eliminates exposed chains, belts, and external transmission components, keeping the propulsion system contained within the wheels. The aligned wheel configuration also reduces drag when turning across loose terrain. 

A pressure-sensitive smart handle adjusts motor assistance as the wagon is pulled or pushed. Remote and app-based controls provide additional options for adjusting speed and movement, while releasing the handle activates electronic braking. The electronics, controls, and wiring are contained within the frame, allowing the various systems to operate without introducing additional external components. LITEFAR B1 (see more here) is equipped with a removable 24,000 mAh battery that powers the wagon and can also function as a portable power source for phones, cameras, and other devices. A telescopic light is integrated into the frame, while interchangeable wheels allow the wagon to operate across grass, gravel, and compact trails in addition to sand. The combination of these elements extends the wagon’s use across different environments while maintaining the same overall structural configuration.

A Modular System Extends LITEFAR B1 Wagon’s Serviceability

The B1 has been developed as a production product rather than a speculative mobility concept. LITEFAR has completed small-batch manufacturing and conducted testing across soft sand, wooden ramps, grass, gravel, and inclined surfaces.  Testing has focused on loaded movement, motor assistance, folding reliability, braking response, and transitions between different ground conditions. The modular construction allows key components, including the battery, wheels, and control accessories, to be installed, replaced, or serviced independently, reducing the need to replace the complete product when individual modules require attention.

The B1 brings propulsion, power, storage, lighting, and control systems together within a foldable aluminum structure. Its design addresses the different surfaces encountered between a vehicle and the shoreline, using integrated electric assistance to reduce the physical effort involved in transporting equipment. The LITEFAR B1 is currently available on Indiegogo, with initial deliveries scheduled for October–November 2026.
