based out of eindhoven, solid gray has sent designboom images of their latest folding polypropelene block co-polymer backpack – the ‘bass-pack’. the strong, but lightweight hard-shell can be folded millions of times without breaking or tearing. it also offers maximum carrying comfort and protection with an interior lined by soft EPDM-foam that includes compartments for laptop storage. influenced by the ingenious natural design of animals such as insects and crustaceans, the bag is equipped with eight high-quality speakers – elevating the function and versatility of regular backpacks.
