fred & friends: cassette tape iphone case

the product designers of hamade managed to combine today’s latest technology with retro cassettes from the past in their ‘tuned up’  cassette tape iphone case for fred & friends. the design is a thin plastic sleeve which transforms the high-tech gadget into an oversized plastic tape from the past. the case also protects the phone, avoiding unwanted scratches and cushioning any falls. the case fits 3g and 4g iphones and comes with its own cassette case that act as a clever stand for watching videos.

  • At first I thought this was pretty cool, but looking at that picture it actually looks very strange to be holding what appears to be a giant audio cassette up to your ear and talking into it. I’m sure some people will like it, but that’s just my two cents. -James
