gerard rallo: personal adviser for reintegration

the personal adviser for reintegration is a project by designer gerard rallo that is part of his part of devices for mindless communication series. the device is worn around the neck and provides information for making small talk with people. the project aims to protect banal conversations with no aim behind them from disappearing. ‘this device tracks conversations, giving hints about open questions, accepted comments, answers, and expressions’.

    donno says:
  • I think that anyone that wants to start a conversation will use that.. its to big. the idea can work but with another type of object..

    Frnzo says:
  • i think you didn’t get it: this is art!

    svenni says:
  • LOL, funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.

    copernicus says:
  • Interesting idea. My concern is that it may get us one step closer to not thinking about what we want to say, and just regurgitating words. Though, there have been times when that awkward silence stretches for a bit too long. 🙂

    Matthew says:
  • My partner does

    Bilbao says:
  • I really hope it’s a bad joke.

    a. says:
  • I see it as a hilarious critique on loss of face-to-face socializing!
