NEWS: google has ended months of online speculation about the name of the latest version of its android mobile operating system–previously surmised to be called the ‘android 5.0 keylime pie’–by revealing it will be sited as ‘android 4.4, KitKat’, after nestlé’s popular chocolate and wafer confectionery. succeeding the platform’s thematic dessert-coined monikers: cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream sandwich, and jelly bean, the release of the latest network will feature a major operating system refresh, which has been hinted at offering a number of major developments with the user interface.
