the table of contents for the first installment of google’s print and web -based publication ‘think quarterly’

the first installment of ‘think quarterly‘– created by google both as a limited-edition print publication for its business network and in a freely available, multimedia web version– collects the thoughts and research of scholars and google executives in a sixty-eight page exploration of data and web-based data trends, the selected theme for this issue. both the print and web versions are designed by british creative agency the church of london.

prepared exclusively for the top UK executives in google’s business network, the print copy of each book is customized for its recipient, and was shipped with a slipcase, presentation box, and pop-up. the publication’s free online version supplements its feature-length articles with embedded multimedia. the website also features a downloadable copy of the issue, which permits easy content sharing across platforms through the use of QR codes.

google currently states that they have no plans to sell the print issues of the books to the general public. the next three installments are expected in may, july, and october of 2011.
