zoeao, the manufacturers of gravastar, have come up with a unique concept for a bluetooth speaker by giving it a futuristic look and a ‘war-damaged’ aesthetic. resembling a metallic spider robot, the gravastar sports a hand-painted zinc alloy shell and built-in LED lights that flash to the rhythm of your music for extra allure.

the device comes with an aux cable and usb-c to usb 2.0 cable for charging as well as pairing devices. it’s also possible to link two gravastars together for stereo output as well as using the bluetooth connection to stream music or use it for gaming. once fully-charged the device will operate for 30 hours.

the gravastar is an upgraded version of the popular speaker of the same name, which was first unveiled during london design week in 2018. after feedback from music professionals and launching the new speaker, it is available to buy on its website for around $270. in a bid to bring it to the wider market in japan, zoeao has launched a crowdfunding campaign on kibidango.
