drawing inspiration from the iconic harman kardon audio equipment design, james tsai introduces the ‘harmony’ mobile phone. following the current trend of transforming cellphones into quality videography equipment, the designer has integrated the brand’s audio standards into a smartphone with high productivity and entertainment capabilities.

‘harmony’ by james tsai is directly influenced by harman kardon’s well-known speaker soundsticks and wireless speaker system. with its remarkable visuals, the mobile rebrands harman kardon’s design language in an organic and translucent back piece, which gives the product a vibrant touch. in addition, the design features two different colorway options: bright ‘miami peaches’ and dark ‘galaxy blue’.
