Champagne color for custom hybrid yacht 50M M/Y ANJELIF
The custom hybrid yacht 50M M/Y ANJELIF glimmers in daylight with its champagne-colored aluminum exterior. First unveiled during the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, the vessel is tailored and brought to life by Columbus Yachts. It’s entire exterior is designed by Architect Marco Casali of Too-Design, built with aluminum and coated with champagne-hued finishing. When it sails on water and the sunlight hits the exterior, the color of the exterior resembles liquified gold with hints of metal, punctuated by its sharp yacht frame.

Sanitation system that cleans the air from bacteria and viruses
50M M/Y ANJELIF is a hybrid yacht because that’s how the owner wants it. Onboard, there are two devices, chosen by the owner, that handle the sanitation, brought to the yacht by project engineer Giuseppe Sole. The first uses cold plasma to clean the air coming from the outside. It prevents bacteria and viruses from infiltrating the air and entering the indoor spaces and is used for both ventilation and air conditioning. The other one is to sanitize the other rooms and spaces on the hybrid yacht ANJELIF, activated at predefined times to make sure the air is cleaned every hour.

walnut, rose-gold metal connectors and more for interiors
Inside the hybrid yacht ANJELIF, natural and ecological materials, such as Taurini stones, adorn the finishing. The use of natural oak wood, canaletto walnut, white lacquered wood, and matte, rose-gold metal connectors is visible. The boiseries, entirely made of oak, have a tubular floor-to-ceiling design, interspersed with wall sections made of backlit natural Taurini stones. Floor-to-ceiling windows recur in different rooms, and in the main salon, the upholstery by Armani shares the same champagne color. The owner’s suite includes massage and sauna rooms as well as a gym, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a double sink in yellow quartz.

Around the decks, the hybrid yacht ANJELIF has its own beach club. The main deck features a swimming pool between sunbathing seats in teak finish, and there’s also a bar crafted with a bleached oak finish and details in crystal and polished steel. The helm station is on the second deck, entirely leather-upholstered, and at the bow, there’s a multifunctional area created with large sun beds and a helipad. At night, this helipad and are can be transformed into an open-air cinema with a large foldable screen and a projector.

Specs-wise, the hybrid yacht ANJELIF can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots with a range of 3,200 nautical miles at 12 knots. It can operate in three modes. In Diesel, the yacht operates with the propulsion engines while the generators power up the electrical utilities on board. The electric mode turns off the main engines while the generators provide the power for the two electric motors of 100 kW each, both connected directly to the gearboxes (the engines can still generate power for the utilities on board).
The last is the shaft generator mode, where the main propulsion engines transmit part of their torque to the electric motors to supply electrical energy. Here, the onboard generators can both be turned off. The hybrid yacht ANJELIF was first introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 by Colombus Yachts, a tailored design for its owner, Maria Francesca Angelini. As of publishing the story, the vessel is up for charter under Fraser Yachts.
