the design firm IDEO began exploring new ways to make digital music a more physical experience and developed the c60 music platform. the device features a large platform embedded with multiple RFID readers and is connected to the user’s digital music collection. once small RFID tagged music piece are placed on the platform, the music begins to play. multiple piece can be laid down on the platform, forming a queue that will play each track in a clockwise direction.
