just5 is a specialized mobile manufacturer that makes striped down phones specially designed for senior citizens. the cp11 is their third phone model and features a pop-out LCD screen. the new popping action is activated with a simply press of a button, extending the 2.2-inch screen upwards. in the closed position, the phone has a single line display, which is partially covered by the phone’s casing. the screen simply slide’s upwards when activated to reveal the portion that was previously covered.  the phone also has large easy to hit buttons and large print on the screen. on the back of the phone, there is a large SOS button that can be programmed to call any number.

  • Pop out screen doesn’t seem to mix well with senior citizens as the target audience but that’s just my idea.

    Looks kinda nifty though.
