unveiled at the 2012 paris international motor show, the maserati ‘grancabrio MC’ takes influence from its ‘granturismo MC stradale’
predecessor by adopting a the new 4.7-litre V8 engine, which delivers 460 horsepower with 520-lb-ft of torque. in combination
with a six-speed ‘MC auto shift’ transmission, the car reaches a top speed of 289 km/h (180 mph) with acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h
(60 mph) in 4.9 seconds.

its dual cast braking system includes aluminium bell discs with a steel surface acheiving a stopping distance of 100 to 0 km/h over
just 35 metres. measuring 52 millimeters longer than the ‘grancabrio’ and ‘grancabrio sport’, the newly redesigned front end and
bumper is characterized to optimize aerodynamic flow and lift, which provides up to a 25 percent increase in downforce at high speeds.

its circular exhausts have been moved to the centre of the rear bumper and the specific layout of the air ducts have been built lower
to the ground to ensure greater streamlining. the ergonomic interior space incorporates a carbon-fiber frame, where newly designed
seats attribute to 20mm of leg room. savings in the rear. partnered together with british audio specialists bowers & wilkins,
the new collaborative sound system will produce the highest-grade in-car audible experience.
