mclaren 570GT MSO black collection supercar limited to 100 models

the mclaren ‘570GT MSO black collection’, bathed in a new bespoke carbon black paint, fitted with a defined titanium supersports exhaust, and enhanced with the sport pack dynamic handling package, is limited to just 100 models globally. said to be a true collectable, the car is the latest offering from mclaren special operations division (MSO), which offers enhanced uniqueness and driving thrills.

rob melville, design director at mclaren automotive commented: ‘mclaren special operations allows our customers to fully express themselves through their cars; and the new 570GT MSO black collection is no different. black is a colour associated with elegance, power and authority whilst also surrounded by a certain air of mystery. the end result remains true to the luxurious nature of the 570GT but we managed to further amplify its sleek, sporty character with a wealth of new MSO Defined options which I am sure will delight discerning owners.’

with the original ‘570GT’ unveiled at the 2016 geneva motor show, followed by limited ‘XP green’ edition in 2017, the mclaren ‘570GT MSO black collection’ goes a step further and dips the exterior in a striking and extremely deep color. the stealthy shade continues to cover the standard-fit dark palladium components, which includes front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes. finally, the model is completed with the 5 twin-spoke lightweight forged wheels with a new gloss black diamond wheel finish.

beneath the standout panoramic roof, which is unique to the MSO-defined ‘570GT’ models, the interior merges luxury with sportiness. the MSO black collection trim details jet black leather with carbon black alcantara accents on the center tunnel, lower instrument panel, headliners, steering wheel and speaker surrounds. the sports seats, enhanced with electric and heated memory, are wrapped in semi-aniline leather that, on closer inspection, features the MSO logo embroidery on the headrests. continuing the design’s high attention to detail, the MSO-defined ignition key is also painted in carbon black.

  • I think a dark grey would show the lines better. ‘Limited to just 100’ … when 50 may be a tall ceiling.
