mikme is a wireless microphone that seamlessly brings studio-quality audio to your iPhone videos. the device is built to enable musicians, filmmakers, journalists, podcasters and lovers of sound creating content fast, in excellent quality and with mobile devices. it wirelessly streams audio to the mikme creator app, which syncs video from the smartphone with audio in real- time – ready for editing and sharing on the fly.
‘let’s say you want to create a stunning video,’ explains the mikme website. ‘the camera, you’ve already got in your pocket. what’s missing is great audio. you want sound that captures you audience’s attention.’ the front side of the mic features a 1″ gold-plated condenser capsule which is phantom-powered (48V) and supported by a built-in spider suspension. the rear-end includes standard buttons and plugs such as a bluetooth, micro-USB connector, mini jack output and volume buttons.
