conceived at the company’s research and development facility in tampere, finland, ‘ozo’ captures stereoscopic 3D video through eight synchronized global shutter sensors and spatial audio though eight matching integrated microphones. paired software enables real time 3D viewing, with an innovative playback solution that removes the need to pre assemble a panoramic image, which is usually very time consuming with current products in the marketplace. nokia partnered with jaunt studios to offer the cameras to creatives – from brands to artists to filmmakers, to create cutting edge content with the ‘ozo’, and help bring VR to the next wave of innovation.
