showcased at this year’s 2013 CES in las vegas, NVIDIA has introduced ‘project shield’, a handheld gaming console running on the company’s tegra 4 chip – the world’s fastest mobile processor. the new device delivers up to 38 hours of non-stop play, with a 1280×720 HD retinal multi-touch display on the android OS, featuring rich sound through its custom tuned port audio system. capable of supoorting apps such as hulu, netflix and slacker radio, the handhend gaming platform features a micro SD slot and wi-fi connectivity, where users can stream games from a PC powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs, accessing titles on its ‘stream’ game library from anywhere at home.
