a french company called ‘omni’ has launched a product called ‘le globetrotter’, which seeks to give more freedom to wheelchair users. with the help of an electric scooter, the device can be attached to the front of a wheelchair — transforming it into an electric means of transportation. the company, who has been developing the product for more than two years, says that the ‘globetrotter’ is up to five times cheaper than other solutions.
