the sound of power series is a tribute to the porcelain figurines grandparents loved to collect. the speaker is a contemporary reincarnation of these classical objects combining striking visual and audio qualities. this completely awkward new genre by petro wodkins, will feature powerful people who march to the beat of their own metaphorical drums. the debut model of the 2015 series is vladimir putin. ‘his distinct facial characteristics and piercing eyes turn this complex man into a human and powerful speaker,’ describes wodkins. ‘play the people, who played the world’.

the open weave fabric spider of the speaker reflects very little acoustic energy to the cone and offers stiff linearity. a stable injection moulded aluminum chassis keeps the critical components in perfect alignment. the pole piece is prolonged forwards and equipped with a deep drawn copper cap to ensures both the force factor and coil inductance.

the speaker is made from a composite material 

 

 

 

the collectors item is created in russia and handcrafted in sweden. each piece is individually cast and polished to capture old methods of making busts. each driver pieced together undergoes careful inspection and testing before shipping. underneath, the 20-watt amplifier hides its self in a handcrafted wooden stand. the ‘putin speaker’ is made of marble like composite material and comes equipped with a full range, four-inch driver. the built-in base reflex offers a distinct performance and sound clarity.
