ultra-light structure and futuristic form mark palladio

Palladio is a 20-meter hybrid yacht concept that showcases an avant-garde fusion of design and technology along the waters. The newest innovative watercraft concept by Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini, the futuristic vessel is crafted entirely from carbon fiber, its ultra-light structure capable of reaching up to 55 knots of maximum speed. It is propelled by twin Castoldi jets, and driven by two FTP engines, each packing a punch with 1000 horsepower for a seamless ride. A distinctive mouth-shaped design marks the front, featuring filtered air intakes on each side to ensure a continuously refreshed environment within the passenger cabin. Onboard, it can accommodate up to 26 passengers with customizable interiors to suit each individual’s needs.

Pierpaolo Lazzarini’s design prioritizes functionality, ensuring the elevated upper structure offers substantial space within both the hull and lower area while its streamlined, pod-like form adds a distinct futuristic aesthetic. This area proves ideal for housing a spacious hydrogen fuel cell tank and power generators, enabling enhanced operational efficiency. Thanks to the integration of electric motors, transmission between the engine and the jet, and advanced fuel cell technology, Palladio is able to transition into a full electric 22-knot sailing mode, mainting this speed for up to 4 hours.

Inside, Palladio accommodates up to 26 passengers. The main cabin comfortably seats 22, while the front section provides room for an additional 4, including the Captain. The designer crafts a versatile main passenger cabin, wherein corners can be configured as toilets or dinettes, adding a customizable dimension to the onboard experience. During the water transportation, the rear section of the yacht is designed to accommodate part of the crew and facilitate efficient luggage storage.
