polaris has unveiled a four-seat edition of its RZR XP turbo S — a significant upgrade to its nastiest and most aggressive model. the machine is the first-ever four-seat off-road monster to boast a 72-inch stance, 32-inch standard tires, dynamix active suspension and 16-inch ground clearance for adventure addicts. the RZR XP 4 turbo S also features a highly evolved cockpit and an improved driving position that allows drivers to comfortably command it through virtually everything in its path.
‘the launch of the turbo S platform was met with overwhelming excitement from our consumers, we knew the next step was to make it available in a four-seat model,’ said chris musso, president of off-road vehicles, polaris. ‘as a result, we effectively raised the bar again, setting the standard in 72-inch side-by-side performance.’
from the outside, the machine gives off a predatory low profile, with an aluminum roof and premium painted panels featuring LED lighting packages. internally, the cockpit boasts a four-point harness, premium flat-bottom SPARCO steering wheel, and an all-new digital instrument display cluster with seven-inch ride command glove-touch display on the center dash.
available in indy red and polaris blue, the 168-horsepower cruiser will be available in mid-september at a base price of $30,499 USD. drivers will enjoy putting all 168 horses to use, tearing through terrain that would shred any other machine.

It might be gnarly, but it has nothing to do with adventure. – It is just disturbing and damaging nature.
If only used in “useless” restricted small areas (like for moto-cross), and maybe in events like the Dakar or other extreme rallies, then OK. Otherwise it is useless like headache and diarrhea at the same time.
There’s only one cool guy of the four – his daddy bought this for him. The other’s are typical hangars-on, they just suck up to the guy with the car, or in this case the buggy. The two in the back are trying to figure out how to replace the other guy in the front. Like, jet skis, this is one tune toy that bores quickly.

Notwithstanding the preceding commentary I remain unconvinced about the rear seats, the occupants of which seem to be liberally showered with sh1t. Nice still photos though.
“is this the gnarliest adventure vehicle ad disguised as an article ever made?”
I think its just about time Polaris makes a machine that can compete with competition baddest no toughest no can am out does them on the true 4wd. Trophy truck suspension and room and style. Dynamics cool but not impressive. Can am has had upgrades for a few years 32 inch tires give it that 2inches of ground clearance as can am has 30s but that can be fixed. In short it’s about time polarais now ro see if it’s a quality product because it has not been in the past.
Well it’s not the first 72″ 4 seat machine..can am has had the four seat maverick x3 with 172 hp out for a while now..Polaris is behind in the game. The X3 is far superior.lets get our facts correct before publishing this fake news
