pomera has been available in japan with various models being released over the last decade, resolving the weight-issue of laptops on business trips or the distractions during meetings. with its sole purpose for entering text pomera positions itself as the writer’s perfect companion with a battery life of around 20 hours using two AA cells. the ‘pocket’ typewriter allows users to easily transfer text displayed on the device’s 6-inch E ink panel to their phone or computer via QR code or microSD card.
