Praga Bohema: A Hypercar Designed for Track and Road

The Praga Bohema, the first production car from the Czech automaker in nearly eight decades, has officially entered the market. After unveiling the pre-production prototype just two years ago, Praga has now delivered its first customer car, marking the end of a seven-year development journey. A Return to Road Car Production

Czech automotive manufacturer Praga’s return to road car manufacturing marks a significant shift for the company, which has spent decades focusing on motorsport. Its construction features extensive use of carbon fiber for both the body and monocoque chassis, achieving a weight far below typical hypercars.

At its heart is a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine delivering 700 bhp. Combined with its lightweight design, this enables the Bohema to offer a top-tier performance experience. The car’s advanced braking system, featuring carbon ceramic discs, and an adjustable suspension system allow it to excel on both the track and the road. This dual-purpose capability is a key aspect of its appeal.

Design and Customization

The Bohema prioritizes aerodynamic efficiency, with a package refined in a Formula 1 wind tunnel. Each car is hand-built and personalized, offering bespoke finishes such as bare carbon or gold leaf. Production is capped at fewer than 20 units annually, emphasizing exclusivity and craftsmanship.
