‘projecteo – tiny instagram projector’ by benjamin redford

developed by london-based designer benjamin redford, ‘projecteo’ is a tiny projector that uses wheels of 35mm slide film to showcase instagram images. using a special wheel roll to access these photos, a single frame containing nine photos on kodak film stock is utilized, cut and snugly fitting within the rotating container. through an iterative process, the focal length of the lenses is optimized and a focusing mechanism is configured to work seamlessly in the dark.

  • Your design is wonderful, I think it is great.
I have about 14 projectors, Kodak carrousels and Rollei.
I do a lot of projecting in dark spaces 8 to 10 in a row, I am addicted to projectors.
Look at my projections. I like to have info about your projector. Magda

  • not to pop your bubble or anything, but Kodak has ceased production of film
