reify, driven by a core team of CEO allison wood and chief technologist kei gowda, is a physical platform for making totems encoded with music and visuals that users can play on their mobile devices, transforming sound into something they can hear, see and hold. their collaborative tools combine both physical and digital audio technology, and create a new user experience.

the platform works with musicians using their custom design software to make 3D printed sculptures that visually represent their songs. they’ve designed hundreds of experimental totems for many different kinds of music. through many trials and educational errors, reify established an audio to physical design process where each totem can look and feel as unique as the song it represents.

only when a mobile device camera is pointed at a totem, their ‘stylus’ app launches an on-screen and audio experience of the song within an interactive visual environment. reify 3D visual music platform lets artists express their music in a physical and graphic form, and gives fans an interactive, multi sensory experience that they can share with others.
