designed as a kit to transport and tour more than twenty cities around the world until 2015 including geneva, frankfurt, algiers, shanghai, barcelona and buenos aires, ‘the bump – renault salon’ concept by DGT architects takes a more curvaceous and feminine approach than its predecessors. the recognizable, warm and welcoming stand reflects the core values of § the french car company renault.

by translating the feeling of motion to a stand, DGT have developed two hills around the booths for the 2012 paris motor show, as concept cars or new vehicles spin on rotating platforms. on the sides, the vehicle layout exposes different angles depending on the viewing point, where visitors can visualize the manufacturer’s new models on either lateral of the central aisle.

the floor and ceiling lighting enhance the feeling of motion created by the three-dimensional layout. balls of light move as one and simulate the movement of the waves while subtly changing colour. brand identity images appear on the huge LED screens to create the desired atmosphere.
