rezvani beast alpha supercar’s sidewinder doors slide out + forward

supercar manufacturer rezvani has taken its ‘beast’ even further with a brand new take on its signature automobile: ‘beast alpha’. a hardtop take on the original two-seat-roadster, the vehicle features the addition of a removable enclosure, plus brand new ‘sidewinder’ doors. rivaling even those offered by the likes of supercar-giant koenigsegg, the california-automaker’s ‘sidewinders’ can slide out and forward for easy access. 

engine capacity: < 500 hp

the car isn’t slow on the uptake when it comes to performance either. while it strictly pales in comparison to the 700 horsepower and 2.5 second 0-60 mph acceleration time of the high-powered rezvani ‘beast X’, the ‘alpha’ still offers up 500 horsepower and can reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds, thanks to its heavily modified and turbocharged 2.4 liter ‘K24’ four-cylinder acura engine.

it should also be mentioned that the ‘beast alpha’, despite added weight, is not a heavy car: it weighs in at just 1 950 pounds. the additional mass comes in the form of an upgraded livery–the most obvious being the covered roof, which also happens to be removable, so it can still get some air through the cockpit. the ‘beast alpha’ has a top speed of 175 mph, as opposed to the roadster’s 165 mph top speed.

the interior is upholstered in fine leather and alcantara. while it appears pretty understated, it does come with some concessions to modernity. the instrument cluster is an LCD screen similar to what can be found in a race car, and in the dash is a stereo with apple carplay and android auto. air conditioning and airbags are also standard features, along with a drive mode selector for choosing how much power and stability control intervention the car uses. rezvani also includes an economy mode for when driving hard and fast isn’t on the agenda.
