rolls-royce all-terrain vehicle emerges on test track

rolls-royce publishes photographs showing the ‘all-terrain, high-sided vehicle’ the latest milestone in the development of its project ‘cullinan’. in an open letter published in the financial times on 18 february 2015, british-automaker promised to regularly inform people about the progress of its large off-road 4×4 project. this first full development vehicle will begin testing in public from tomorrow.

the first engineering mule is a platform for developing the new all-wheel drive suspension system, as well as testing the all-new aluminum architecture that will underpin all rolls-royces from 2018 onwards. ‘cullinan’ is set to travel to numerous locations around the world in a challenging, testing program to ensure that the end product will be ‘effortless … everywhere’.
