renders of samsung’s supposed design suggesting a departure from the galaxy buds were posted online last week. now, a report out of korea is shedding some more light on how the new earbuds will stack up against the current galaxy buds+.

according to a report by sammobile, the company is targeting a price of under $150, costing less than its earlier models of wireless headphones. it’s also being said that the newer model will support active noise cancellation.

leaked 3D renders of the earbuds reveal a bean-shaped body that will house two speakers and three microphones for superior audio quality. the buds are apparently 28mm long and 13mm wide, with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to the design.

 

sammobile says the buds could launch alongside the samsung galaxy note 20 at samsung’s next unpacked keynote, which will likely take place online later this year. samsung debuted the galaxy buds plus in february with the galaxy S20 lineup.
