samsung electronics has announced the ‘samsung gear fit’, the industry’s first curved, super AMOLED wearable device. whether used as a standalone or companion device, the smart bracelet offers users enhanced connectivity and an integrated approach for wearable technology. the system keeps users connected by offering real-time instant notifications from galaxy smartphones such as incoming calls, emails, SMS, alarm, s-planner and other 3rd party apps.

the ‘gear fit’ was designed to comfortably contour to consumers’ wrists while offering 1.84 inch curved super AMOLED (432 x 128) display. in addition, the device features a custom, fitness coaching programme to provide unique, personalized advice and workout recommendations; the device is paired with a bluetooth connection, accelerometer, gyro and heart rate monitor,color options for the changeable straps include  black, orange and mocha grey.
