provider of flying aerial images, flyguy promotions led by otto dieffenbach, has created ‘santa’s flying christmas tree’, a dual-sided foam cutout integrated with a drone. the holiday themed decoration is printed as a flat representation on vinyl and then attached to a lightweight sheet, before being able to soar off into the sky.

the method used to create the tree is also capable of producing and flying any complex image, and are custom built to size – to a maximum of 16 feet – and performance requirements. just like in the video, we hope santa flew to your christmas tree last night, instead of the out-of-themed harry potter.
