The robo-vehicle embodies the concept of  a ‘transportation microcirculation tool’, redefining vehicles as ‘Moving Spaces’ that offer a range of services to passengers beyond merely commuting from point A to B. With customizable interiors, Robobus can transform into versatile environments — meeting rooms, personal libraries, gyms, cafés, and more — catering to an array of needs and preferences. Its deployment extends across diverse urban landscapes, envisioned to offer shared mobility and commuting services in tourist attractions, university campuses, industrial parks, airports, and various city environments. Fleets can additionally be scattered across main city roads to navigate narrow passageways, effectively fostering a dynamic city mobility system.

 

The company’s design and manufacturing process is driven by AI, employing generative design powered by algorithms, 3D printing, and real-time manufacturing by robot arms. This agile digital manufacturing approach, combined with robotics and sustainable materials, ensures flexibility to produce different types of Moving Spaces while initiating a commitment to protecting the ecosystem.

Technology company PIX Moving envisions the future cityscape transformed by autonomous mobility and robotics technology, engineering the Robobus to facilitate autonomous driving commutes for up to 6 passengers for distances of up to 5 kilometers on a daily basis. The exterior design mirrors a leap into the future – sleek, modern, and harmonious, reflecting a chic urban aesthetic with a touch of cuteness. 

 

Integrated with autonomous driving technology, it navigates city environments safely and efficiently with L4 autonomous driving capability in closed and semi-closed Operational Design Domains. Its bi-directional movement and multi-scenario applications make it adaptable to various transportation needs, augmented by a configurable sensor package and layers of safety redundancy that enhance passenger safety. Built on the Ultra-skateboard chassis platform with drive-by-wire capabilities, Robobus ensures precise control and actuation at the bottom hardware level. The modular layout of the detachable body and chassis allows for transformation into a wide range of on-demand Mobility-as-a-Service robo-vehicles, such as pop-up retail store, moving tea house, mobile coffee bar, lounge on the wheels, on-demand gym, moving cinema, and more.
