it was only a matter of time before the second generation of smartwatches swept over the market. and, as one of the first to do so, skagen has unveiled a revamped version of the ‘falster’ at IFA 2018. as well as a cleaner, slicker and more minimalist look than ever, the timepiece is also a lot smarter. the wear OS-equipped device now provides heart-rate tracking, GPS and NFC.

balancing its abundance of technology, the new skagen ‘falster’ still continues the danish brand’s minimalist aesthetic. a slimmer bezel and a 2mm smaller case, which then makes the 1.19-inch watch face appear bigger, helps deliver an even cleaner look. on either side of the crown, two customizable pushers speed up access to the supported apps. expanding upon personality even further, customers can chose and interchange band choices, from a magnetic mesh to silicone or leather straps.
