available for the first time in gold, as well as the classic silver and space gray aluminum finishes, the all-new apple ‘macbook’ reinvents the notebook, delivering the thinnest and lightest mac to date. it weighs just 2 lbs (0.9kg) and is 13.1 mm thin – 24% slimmer than the 11-inch ‘macbook air’. boasting a 12-inch retina display, each pixel has a large aperture which makes it extremely efficient, using 30% less energy than existing screens, whilst providing high clarity and brightness. as well, the laptop features a highly responsive and comfortable full-size keyboard and an updated force touchpad, bringing a new level of interactivity to the user.

inside the precision-milled unibody, the apple ‘macbook’s battery design provides 35% more capacity than previously, and maximizes every millimeter of space to deliver all-day power. it can be recharged via the same small, compact USB-C port that is used for data transfers and video out. also integrated inside, the 802.11ac wi-fi and bluetooth 4.0 technology enables fast, wireless connectivity that is key to the mac’s versatile design.
