sony recently displayed a series of new flexible and super thin OLED concepts including a flexible laptop computer at tokyo’s 2009 CEATEC electronics show. the new concepts utilizes sony’s ultra thin OLED displays which are so thin they can bend and curve while still displaying picture. most impressive was the small netbook-like sony laptop which didn’t have a keyboard or mouse, boasting a large OLED display instead. in use, the concept would presumably be touch sensitive allowing users to manipulate the screen with their fingers. the sony stand also featured a curved walkman bracelet and a small digital reader device. while these products weren’t up and running sony did have a small demo screen showing the new bendy display in action.
