sugar lab releases a series of 3D printed candies for the holiday season

following its fall collection, sugar lab is back with a series of 3D printed candies and ornaments for the holiday season. from pumpkin spice flavored drink garnishes to candy cane sugar cubes, each 3D printed creation is made by a team of designers and chefs, who work side-by-side to create imaginative and festive food designs.

sugar lab is an east los angeles based company that specializes in 3D printed food. led by a team of architects turned designers, the ‘digital bakery’ specializes in highly cultivated 3D printed food designs that range from candies to cake toppers and upcoming chocolate confections.

founder, kyle von hasseln, first launched the company back in 2012 while studying at southern california institute of architecture in downtown LA. functioning mostly as a B2B model, sugar lab launched in october 2020 with its first consumer products line. and this latest holiday line was released this month, just in time to add a little sweetness to the festive season.
