teague: 20/20 headphones

the 20/20 headphones make use of buckminster fuller’s tensegrity structure to create a flexible, yet rigid pair of high end headphones. tensegrity is a physical structure that balance elements in tension and  compression to give these elements strength and flexibility. the 20/20 headphones utilize this structure to help the headphone conform the wearer’s head. the structure adjusts with no moving parts making them silent as they comfort to the head more organically that more rigid alternatives. once plugged into a portable device, the headphones can be adjusted through their own application.

  • very impressive tech indeed…but for bald people only unless you want your hair to get stuck in the so “woooah” tensegrity structure.

(is design not ALSO about ergonomy?)
