water shortages are a serious concern throughout the entire world and something that can easily be improved through design intervention. working with in-house prototype adam kumpf, teague design studio created a wireless water consumption monitor with real-time feedback. attached to the sink’s faucet, the small device measures that water coming out and wirelessly sends this data to a nearby display that provides feedback for users. after tests, they discovered that the presence of a water monitor helped prevent water waste. to prove their point, teague is also working on a campaign to raise enough money for 20 years of clean water for 500 people.
