like their ‘CR-T1’, the ‘titan R’ is another e-bike from tempus that looks more like a vintage motorcycle than an electric innovation. with a head-turning design, the retro bike is said to be perfect for riding to work, exploring cities and even off-road expeditions.

with styling cues taken from classic cafe racer motorcycles, the tempus ‘titan R’ e-bike also borrows age-old tested materials and is modeled from aircraft-grade steel. the slim structure is dominated by a faux gas tank that extends into a bench seated upholstered in rich leather. the front features one large, spotlight LED light while the rear pairs two modern taillights.
continuing to show that the retro design is modern in detail, the e-bike holds a color LCD that displays the time, speed, range and battery percentage. its ignition can even be started using a protected password. the design is equipped with a 1000W hub motor that propels the bike to a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). this offers a mile range of 40+ (65+ km) thanks to a removable lithium ion battery, which takes 4-5 hours to fully charge.

Interesting. 2 things – Hopefully the ‘faux gas tank’ is a storage box or similar (?) And the graphic shows the tank and seat running parallel to the ground plane, but the video and photo show the set-up sloped which I think would; make riding more difficult, interfere with the rear light cluster and is visually unappealing. Overall, we need more variety in e-bikes so bravo!
The saddle needs to be a lot thicker if the rear tire is the rear suspension. Pedaling, you absorb some of the shock. This is just sitting on your ___.
