italians love their cars, which is why there is no surprise that out of moncalieri italy, torino design debuted their latest supercar concept, named ‘wildtwelve’. the company provides a full range of automotive services and was established in 2006 by roberto piatti. to showcase their engineering creativity, they succeeded in designing a 3.8 liter V-12 engine that is mid mounted and paired with electric motors. the complex hybrid powertrain is managed through a nine speed automatic transmission, with the gasoline engine powering the rear wheels, and the electric motors driving the front set.

all together the arrangment produces 800 horsepower on all four wheels. the carbon fiber frame is 4.4 meters long, 2.0 meters wide and 1.20 meters tall and includes aggressive aerodynamic style that features independent headlamp casings, surrounded by a detailed trim to keep the supercar glued to the road. weighing 1,449 kilograms the torino design ‘wildtwelve’ displays stylish lines that represent classic italian automotive form.
