uber eats delivery scooter is now outfitted with the ‘uber balance’ system — including 3-axis stabilizers — which guarantees that the packet will arrive intact at your destination. korea-based designers, min ju kim and hyeonji roh sought to improve the delivery service environment, especially now that delivery requirements are increased due to the pandemic. the designers utilized the principle of the gyroscope system; it is not affected by the inclination of the vehicle and maintains a horizontal position to minimize shaking and limit the food from spilling out. all images courtesy of min ju kim and hyeonji roh

uber balance guarantees your food reaches you in one piece

minimal shaking was the aim of the ‘uber balance’ system that comes with the uber eats scooter, responding to the increasing delivery demands due to covid-19. uber eats delivery is a service that asks — through an app —  ordinary people to participate as delivery drivers. instead of a dedicated delivery person, anyone can deliver at nearby stores, they can use bicycles, motorcycles, or even walk.
