to aid its flawless use within living spaces, the urbanears ‘multiroom’ speakers have the flexibility to stream via WIFI, connect through bluetooth or plug in to music with a classic aux cord. its advanced WIFI technology enables the latest features to be updated on demand, but most importantly, enables two or more speakers to be combined as a multi-room system. delivering different moods for different rooms, sound experiences can be customized to each unique space or grouped together for synchronized listening.

in spite of all its highly technical technology, the line of speakers feature humanized interfaces to ensure an intuitive, tactile and simple control. no digital displays are needed as day-to-day play is managed using two knobs located on its top panel. these dials twist to switch the device from pause to play or from solo to multi-room system, and adjusts volume or the selection of setting presents. a connected app can also be used to operate presents, speaker groupings, and equalizer, treble and bass balance settings. furthermore, on initial set-up, the application guides users through a step-by-step flow and optional tutorial.

as well as its charming appearance from its lack of screens, the urbanears ‘multiroom’ speakers is shaped in a seemingly minimalist design that adorns great details at closer glance. it is wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric, which adds depth and character to its appearance. individual tastes are met as the devices are available in six color variations: dirty pink, vinyl black, plant green, concrete grey, goldfish orange and indigo blue. the speakers are also available in different sizes, in order to better suit its environment. the big ‘baggen’ is at one with large spaces such as living rooms, patios and open-plan homes, whereas ‘stammen’ easily fills small spaces in bedrooms and studio apartments.
